Gogo was an owner surrender to the North Central animal shelter for begin too active for someone who lived in an apartment and worked all day. He's an active boy.. His name was Spot but since he was reported to be their "go-to" dog when testing other dogs social skills: go-to became GoGo. At BRLA Gogo has been reactive around other dogs on leash, but in the right hands he has shown social skills off leash. When he gets anxious on leash he will need a handler that can navigate his behavior without incident. He would do best with a highly dog experienced family that can provide both leadership and lots of exercise. Gogo went home for a short time with a family with young boys. They report that inside the home he is the perfect happy boy. It's the outside world on leash that has Gogo stressed out. Someone with time to train would be best. The family that spent some home time with Gogo believe in him so much that they will sponsor 3 in home training sessions once Gogo is adopted. . He is about 2 years old and so ready to go go go.
