Gogo was an owner surrender to the North Central animal shelter for begin too active for someone who lived in an apartment and worked all day. He's an active boy who is likely a mix of (some) Boxer and some kind of working/herding dog. He needs a job. He needs a leader to make him gain confidence. He would do best with a highly dog experienced person that can provide both leadership and lots of exercise. We recommend an adult only home with no other pets to get him on track. Gogo went home for a short time with a family with young boys. They report that inside the home he is the perfect happy boy. It's the outside world on leash that has Gogo stressed out and can lead to reactivity of new things (dogs & people). Someone with the time to train is a must. The family that spent some home time with Gogo believe in him so much that they will sponsor 3 in home training sessions once Gogo is adopted. . He is about 2 years old and so ready to go go go.
TeamBRLA Notes: Gogo enjoys his walks so much! He is high energy, but there is a sweet boy in there - just waiting for the right person to provide him with the confidence to feel safe in the outside world. . Gogo also enjoys playing in the little splash pool!
