Gogo was an owner surrender to the North Central animal shelter for begin too active for someone who lived in an apartment and worked all day. He's an active boy who is likely a mix of (some) Boxer and some kind of working/herding dog. He needs a job. He would make an incredible running partner or agility student. He is okay seeing dogs in public but really has no interest in having friends which can be typical of working dogs. He wants to please his human. We recommend an adult only home with no other pets to get him on track.
Gogo went home for a short time with a family with young boys. They report that inside the home he is the perfect happy boy. It's the outside world on leash that has Gogo stressed out and can lead to reactivity of new things (dogs & people). His confidence has grown back at BRLA and he is less reactive but new home should be aware to prevent return. Someone with the time to train is a must.
