Chloe is an owner surrender due to family moving out of the country. She is 7 years old and we are in the process of helping her with skin, ear and eye issues. Our vet believes that Chloe has double cataracts. She sees shadows and shapes for now. She has the most gentle and brave spirit that move her through life with so much grace. She ADORES people of all sizes. She was very attached to the son in her original home and slept with him every night. She had not been around many dogs and at first other dogs at BRLA were a curiosity and novelty but being in a kennel has made her a bit hesitant with new dogs at first but with a proper introductions she has made friends. She does best with calm dogs. She is a Queen in every sense of the word. But maybe there is a kind and gentle canine King in her future.
To say Cleo is sweet is an understatement, she is simply the most loving soul at BRLA. She is adapting to limited vision as all her others senses take over. She loves going on walks and is great on leash. Car rides are her favorite, even wanting to feel the breeze on her face while cruising down the road. She loves people so much you have to be patient when out with Chloe because when she hears someone, she HAS to go and meet them. Give me pets please! She is mellow and friendly and just a love bug senior gal.
Chloe is an inspiration as she just goes with the flow, calm and relaxed in her space at BRLA and loves all the attention and walks from volunteers for now. She is ready to find a home where she can settle in, figure things out and enjoy the love and comfort she so deserves. A house full of kids? Why not. Chloe is full of love and would love nothing more to be a part of home life in any shape or form. BRLA will continue her ongoing medical care and Just Food for Dogs meals to help her skin and ears and whatever else Miss Chloe needs. All you need to add is love...
