Tucker is a handsome devil who is about 2-3 years old. He came to us from a family that rescued him from a private party that was moving and could not take him.
Tucker had jumped out of his original owners car, as a pup, and injured his front leg. It was soft tissue injury but part of his growth plate closed prematurely misaligning his bones. His owners got him surgery at this time and Tucker has a limp but no pain.
He's a pretty mellow guy who enjoys a casual walk a day and lots of quality chill time. He lived with a Boston terrier and at BRLA walks with many Boxer friends. He was surrendered to us for being too strong for the family that rescued him from original owners. When Tucker first arrived at BRLA he acted like he was in charge and a little pushy. He had not been told no very often. After a few weeks working with our team, Tucker is now much more relaxed and cooperative. He loves to train. He is easy on leash and just needs good leadership and clear instruction.
No marathon runners please. Tucker is more couch potato than action hero. He is a big ole' meatball of a Boxer and will thrive in the right home.
