Staten is one of the happiest dogs at BRLA.
He is always happy to meet and play with other dogs. He is happy to play by himself in a yard with a ball. He really loves balls!
He is 6 years old but acts like a playful 6 month old. He is deaf but you would not know any difference as he lives life to the fullest.
He was in a home for a few years so we know he is housebroken and non-destructive when left alone.
He is a big teddy bear of a boy who loves attention and is both playful and mellow. Deaf dogs are always looking for emotional and visual connection. He knows hand signals and is great with sit and down. He makes great eye contact and is always checking in with handler on walk. Staten is a big boy now 5/6 years old and will make a good addition to just about any home. He is great on leash, housebroken and crate trained. Staten is not a barker, our whole kennel can be going off and he sits quietly. His world is a beautiful place. Except when he is playing with another dog and he makes all kinds of crazy-funny noises Staten is great with dogs on play dates but from experience, he probably wants to be the only dog at home.
Staten is a special guy full of love and so much fun energy. Hello Staten!!
