Staten was adopted in 2019 and moved in with family with kids and a young dog. All was well for 2 years and then conflict began between the two dogs. The triggers were unclear to owners but it could have been the emotional maturity of the puppy who is now mature. The bottom line is Staten was returned and is back at BRLA looking for a committed lifetime match. He was a little hesitant to get too close to other dogs at first but Staten is now walking with other dogs at BRLA. He is a big teddy bear of a boy who loves attention and is playful and mellow. Deaf dogs are always looking for emotional and visual connection. He makes great eye contact and is always checking in with handler on walk. Staten is a big boy now 5/6 years old and will make a good addition to the right home. He is great on leash, housebroken and crate trained.
