Dozer started his journey for a home by being listed on Craigslist. A couple of hops and he is now at BRLA. He was born in July of 2024 and is still a total puppy with tons of energy. Now about 1-1/2 years old, he is looking to find a home where someone is home more than not, he just wants to be with his person or people. Not one to be home alone, without some barking so a work from home or homemaker is perfect. Dozer loves playing fetch and is housebroken. He would lay on your lap all day given the chance, he is an excellent cuddle bug. He has a very mischievous side and is known to be a counter surfer given the chance. A home where tempting items are not left in view will love Dozer forever. He also has a taste for plants both house plants and those in your yard. He will do best with someone who enjoys training. He is a quick study and is already learning not to jump up on people, but continued impulse control will be beneficial. He loves to go on walks and is non reactive to other dogs or people. He enjoys walking with other Boxers at BRLA but is working through some previous dog conflict so a home as only dog to continue gaining balance to then welcome a second dog would be perfect. He seems the type that would respect and enjoy a female large dog he could look up to. Overall Dozer is a love that needs the right home. A home of equal love and boundaries. He will become the most amazing family member.
