PANCAKE got her name when she ended up alone in Yosemite and wandered into a campsite where campers were cooking pancakes for breakfast. She was obviously lost or abandoned so they fed her (she does love pancakes) and tried to find owner. No owner was found so she was taking to the Tulare shelter in hopes someone was looking for her. She had no ID or chip and no one came. Pancake is a lovely, mild mannered lady Boxer so we arranged a series of rides to get her to BRLA. The shelter listed her as 5 years old.
She is great on walks, very tolerant of other dogs and just as easy as they come. Pancake is a big girl at 90 pounds. She is now getting regular walks and better food so may lose a little. She is not afraid of anyone and loves attention from adults as well as kids. Not much phases Pancake. She went from lost in the forest to a shelter to our kennel and remains a sweet balanced lady Boxer.
THE BEST HOME FOR PANCAKE SHOULD
Have adopted an adult Boxer in the past
Have the time to engage with her rather than leave home alone
Have a secure private yard for her exclusive use.
