Mookie is about 2 or so years old. He came to us as an owner surrender via being abandoned with a dog groomer, living with a cat owner in a small apartment, then posted as free to good home. Now at BRLA he is on the right path to find and live his best Boxer life. Mookie is like most young energetic Boxer boys, he is fun, he is sweet and he is ready to learn everything he can from experienced owners with good leadership. He has quickly discovered he enjoys other dogs and is learning the proper way to play within boundaries. He is a work in progress and doing great off leash with other dogs. Mookie is like a sponge, willing to soak up all the time and training you put into him. He loves attention and is looking forward to a home where he can get lots of exercise and equal measures of continued training. He's a big boy with a big heart who is ready to give some big love. He could be good with a very balanced dog, of similar size at home, but Mookie would also be perfectly happy to be your one and only and enjoy engaging with other dogs out in the world. He would prefer a cat free home. Mookie is happy just to know he has the opportunity to live a life full of adventure with Boxer experienced people who will show him the way.
Mookie came with mystery scars on his head that only he knows how he got. He is very curious and is just the kind of guy that might stick his head where it doesn't belong and live to tell the tale. There will be lots of adventures with Mookie in your life.
