Max has been bounced around quite a bit. His original owner got him as a puppy and kept him inside his trailer at the trailer park. That didn't work so he gave Max to his son who kept him outside. That didn't work either so he was given to an older guy with a senior Boxer. Max was just too much dog for the man so he brought him to BRLA. Max was adopted but returned. Lots of bouncing.
Max has amazing potential in the right hands to be the perfect boy. He knows all his basic commands and is very smart. He also loves toys and is obsessed with playing fetch. His drive to chase things is not a good fit for a home with young children. Max is hit or miss with other dogs. Since his life has been hit or miss, Max really needs a super strong Boxer experienced leader with solid training skills to turn his bouncing into balance. He would love an athletic partner to be able to focus his energy in the right direction. Max is a about 3-4 years old and looking for a home that fits his needs.
