Marshall is about 8 months old and likely lived a backyard or latch key life with little exposure to the outside world before coming to BRLA via the Riverside shelter and briefly in a home. At home with his people nearby he is relaxed and sweet. Latch key dogs do not get the opportunity to experience all the things out in the world like fun dogs and exciting adventures. Now at BRLA Marshall's world is starting to open up and he is doing great gaining confidence in himself (losing anxiety) and in life itself. Using our most balanced dogs, Marshall enjoys their company. He is still learning how to play but his expression when making his first friend was priceless, like "OMG I had NO idea how great this is!". Young dogs need engagement, they need to experience life to the fullest to become balanced happy go lucky dogs. More than anything else, Marshall needs confident people in his life. Uncertainly holds dogs like Marshall back so if you have solid training skills and lots of time you might be what Marshall needs. He is a loving sweet young boy that is making up for lost time to live a fun filled Boxer life in the right home. He is great with all sizes of people and would do find with a mentor like canine companion to help him be a happy dog. He is learning good leash walking and responds beautifully to confident handling.
