Jarvis is about 1 year old. He and his brother ended up at the San Pedro animal shelter where they were adopted together but once home some sibling rivalry developed so it was determined the brothers would do best on separate paths in life. Jarvis came to BRLA where he showed us he had little experience out in the world and very little self confidence. Our team is getting him out and about and Jarvis is showing us great potential. He is still a bit shy at first and loud noises and new things can frighten him, but he will untuck his beautiful natural tail when in the company of another nice Boxer. Especially a female. There was a 13 year old in the home that rescued him from San Pedro and he was very good with teenagers. Jarvis is housebroken and will do best in a home that can take the time to go slow with him out in the world. He does know basic commands and can sit with or without treats. He's not much into playing with toys but he loves attention. Scared boys like Jarvis are so rewarding to see them change day by day in the right hands. A home with a nice mentor dog could be perfect or lots of human interaction if he will be the only dog in the home.
