Henry just turned 2 year old and came to us as an owner surrender. He came home as a puppy and lived with a small dog, a 9 year old kid and a new baby. Henry loves running around outside and when his family moved to an apartment they notice that over time he was not as happy as when he had more space and more options. He is a bit of your classic bull in a china shop. When his alone time increased his family reached out to have us help him find a home that will make him happy. Henry is housebroken and crate trained. He knows some basic commands and is working on better leash manners. He's strong and could pull a milk cart with ease. He is happy to work for food so continue training will help dial in overall better focus and manners. He is a big lug and with more work his inner pussycat will shine. He needs more time in the outside world on walks to not get so excited when he sees people. He may want to bark at men on walks but a good handler can easily move him forward without any issue. At BRLA Henry does well with other dogs and he loves all of our volunteers. A home with positive engagement, a solid routine and good leadership will make Henry a very happy boy.
TeamBRLA continues to work on all things Henry and look forward to finding him the perfect match
