Hawyg rhymes with Auggie and he is also known as Hoagie. His original owner lived in an apartment with Hawgy and a cat. He realized he didn't have time for a big energetic Boxer and his friend, a college student agreed to help by fostering him. His foster had only had a small dog in the past but he has put in some very good work with Hawgy. He goes everywhere and loves everyone. He does have a very enthusiastic approach to life and would do best with active people. He has great energy, just a lot of it at times. Like when he wants to meet a dog or person. But Hawgy is a pussycat. He knows his basic commands and loves going for walks. He is such a total goofball and really wants to please. He loves all dogs but plays hard so best to stick with dogs his own size. He sleeps in a crate and is housebroken. This big fun boy is ready to start a new forever with a home that fits his needs.
