HANK

At about 3 years old, Hank is a professional goofball in a white coat. He and his older brother Lou were surrendered together to the Camarillo animal shelter. We pulled them both, and while they can be adopted separately, they are an absolute riot as a pair—think two giant, happy polar bears wrestling in your living room!

Hank is all about the "Boxer wiggle." He’s a social guy, loves everyone he meets, and has a rowdy, jumpy play style. Because he treats life like a bouncy castle, he does best with confident dog buddies who match his energy, and will do great in an active, adult-only home (or with older teenagers) who can handle his big Boxer enthusiasm.

Hank thrives on exercise, clear leadership, and being right in the middle of the action. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion who will keep you laughing every day, Hank is ready to bring the circus to your house!

THE BEST HOME FOR HANK SHOULD

• Have adopted an adult Boxer before
• Have a private yard for his exclusive use
• Have solid training skills to continue working with him
• Only have older (teenage) sturdy kids at home due to his exuberance
• If other dogs at home, they should be of similar size and play style. 
• Consider adopting both Hank and Lou!
