Ginger is a 2 year old girl that we pulled from the South LA Animal Shelter along with her boyfriend Fred. It was clear they came from a back yard breeding situation. Backyards do not provide an enriching experience for dogs who now have to process all the new things in the world and inside a home. Ginger is the boss and not always in the nicest way to Fred. Both being so young we feel that they may benefit by venturing out to a new life on their own to get all the attention and focus. Or they could go together into a home that knows how to deal with potential transfer incidents and build their balance over time.
Ginger is working on learning all the basics, walking on leash, her commands and enjoying love and attention. She can be a little nervous, but that is to be expected from a dog that only saw the 4 walls of the backyard. Her world has just expanded and she now needs a home to continue her journey of a lifetime.
