Eddie Money came to us as an owner surrender. They got him from a friend. He lived with 2 teenage kids. They didn't have time for him and asked we rehome him. A new baby arrived and it was 6 month later that Eddie came to BRLA.
During that 6 months he was no longer walked. He became very anxious and constantly wanted to be with the infant. He became protective of the baby as well.
Eddie arrived at very extremely stressed and distrustful. He opened up to our staff and volunteers and started to gain confidence with good handling skills and solid routine. Who knew Eddie$ could be so much fun. He discovered he likes other dogs. But not all of them. He is super playful with our team, but can still be wary and reactive to some people. He gets better and better every day and we can only imagine how great he will be at home with great people leading the way.
Eddie is a work in progress and we are so proud of how far he has come. He is 1-1/2 years old and ready to grow fat and happy in the right hands.
Eddie will need a very solid leader. One he can trust implicitly. An adult only home will be best for him to focus on gaining confidence. He can be good with other dogs but since he can still be reactive to some, best to go home as only dog to start.
There is just something so goofy about Eddie with his sad sack face and proud tail. He's unique and looking for an equally unique home.
