Coco is a petite 4 year old girl. She originally came to BRLA in 2018 from the Redlands shelter. She was adopted that summer and is now back at BRLA for a better fit. She can be a little nervous at first. She was adopted as the only dog in the home but soon 2 others were added, including another female. They mostly spent their time outside and slept either in the garage or in crates when the weather was bad. Coco was not walked daily. She grew uneasy and became reactive to what happened outside their yard.
Coco needs confident calm humans that will help her grow more comfortable in the world and around others. At BRLA she can see another dog from a distance and be fine, but she is not ready for up close and personal just yet. She will get there with the right person who is willing to invest the time. Coco is good with people, older kids could be okay and when she lets down her guard and feels happy, it's a beautiful thing.
