Bella is about 3 years old. The breeder that owned her was going to take her to the shelter so a friend stepped in and took her home. She did well with the male Boxer in the home. But the 4 cats that also lived there were not amused. Bella is not fond of cats so she came to BRLA to find the right home. She does best with dogs her own size. When she first arrived she was so scared that she became defensive and did not want to move. We brought out another dog and it was like a switch was turned on. In the company of other dogs, Bella is confident and opens up. Other dogs are such a comfort to her she needs a home with a another large dog in residence. It was reported she lived with many kids in her original home.
As long as Bella feels safe (with another dog) she is a happy camper. She is a female so can be a little dominant but she is learning a lot by hanging out with so many other dogs at BRLA.
THE BEST HMOE FOR BELLA SHOULD
** We do not place female dogs into homes that already have on in residence.
