Canela is a 3.5-year-old female Boxer who came to BRLA, through no fault of her own, as an owner surrender.. Her former family made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to surrender her due to a housing situation that no longer allowed them to keep her. They loved her deeply and wanted to ensure she had the opportunity to find another wonderful home where she can continue to thrive.
Having lived successfully with another Boxer, Canela has shown herself to be a social and easygoing dog who enjoys the company of both people and other dogs.
