April is one of the sweetest girls to ever come to BRLA. She had lived in her family home her entire life until the landlord suddenly said they had to move out in 30 days. They were not able to afford a new place that allowed dogs so we were asked to help her. This little lady (literally 40 pounds) which we call a pocket Boxer, is stunning with beautiful color and four full white socks. April lived with kids, cats and even a bunny. She loves all dogs, big and small. Same with people. She has the house manners of an adult being housebroken and crate trained but the heart and soul of a puppy loving to play and always up for an adventure. She loves car rides and will patiently wait for you, usually curled up in the front seat. This is a dog you can take anywhere and everywhere with you since she is so wonderful around everyone in public. She loves a good happy hour. April will put herself to bed in her crate. She loves going on walks and has perfect leash manners. She is playful and active but also the biggest cuddle bug and enjoys her down time. She would love a nice canine companion but would also be okay on her own. A home where someone is around more than not will fit her best. April would be an easy fit into just about any home. She deserves the best.
** NOTE** From experience: We do not place female dogs into homes that already have one in residence.
