Drew was found tied to a pole of a YMCA on the westside of Los Angeles. Good Samaritans stepped in to help. He went home with one of the finders that has a 2 year old female Portuguese/poodle mix. Drew was intact so his girl did not appreciate the romantic advances. Drew has since been neutered and now can focus on play with other dogs. He had a great time meeting all kinds of dogs on leash at the nearby park. We think he is a Boxer Beagle cross and maybe 2 years old. He is sweet, silly and submissive. He may have not gotten to socialize much in his previous life but he is one of our BRLA social butterflies now. He can take a minute with some dogs that exhibit lots of energy but once he gets the social green light, the fun begins. He loves to go on walks and it's fun to watch him follow scents like a detective dog. He knows some basic commands. Drew has the unique ability to stand up on his two back legs. He is treat motivated and he will literally dance on his back legs for snacks. He is super cute, super safe & polite with all people and would be an easy fit into just about any home. He's a boy looking to put down roots in a stable home where he finally can belong which is the best feeling and confidence booster there is.
