Jax is about 2 years old and came as an owner surrender from a home that rescued him from a neighbor that kept him tied up. That home had a small dog that pestered Jax which resulted with him being moved to a tether in their driveway. His kind rescuer had 3 dogs in the family: 2 shepherds and a senior Corgi along with number of cats. Jax was a bit too interested in the cats so he was temporarily set up in the garage until a home was found. Jax would walk with the other dogs but was not fully integrated. We saw the social media post looking to rehome Jax and got him to BRLA. He is a mellow boy ready to fully bloom in the right home. He is great on leash and know so many commands. He is smart as well as handsome. He enjoys the company of other dogs (his own size) but is just now learning how to make friends. Every positive encounter he has with other dogs at BRLA builds his confidence and is teaching him about play. Play is a work in progress. Jax is a wonderful mellow boy that is great out in public among all dogs and all people. He would be so happy to go home as the only dog to settle into the good life and open up his world to so much more. Jax is a very kind, mellow boy who has not been given the opportunity to engage in a life life to the fullest. It's time to make that happen and he will make a wonderful addition to the right home.
