Eddie Money came to us as an owner surrender, his estimated birthday is September 2020.
His new home should have Good training skills and a confident human will help Eddie continue to find his balance in life. And have fun!
Eddie's original home had 2 teenage kids. They didn't have time for him and when a new baby arrived Eddie got protective of the infant. His personality changed so much they stopped walking him and then finally surrendered him in an extremely anxious, fearful and distrustful state.
After time at our facility he opened up to our staff and volunteers and started to gain confidence with good handling skills and solid routine. Who knew Eddie$ could be so much fun. He discovered he likes other dogs. But not all of them. He likes female dogs. He is super playful with our team, but can still be wary and reactive to some people. He will do best in a less busy environment to not be faced with so many potential triggers. Once he is comfortable, he is a cruiser in the right hands. He gets better and better every day and we can only imagine how great he will be at home with great people leading the way.
Eddie will need a very solid leader. One he can trust implicitly. An adult only home will be best for him to focus on gaining confidence. He can be good with other dogs but since he can still be reactive to some, best to go home as only dog to start.
Eddie has a very negative reaction to fireworks. He becomes so fearful that he can be reactive to our staff and volunteers. No fireworks, no problem.
There is just something so goofy about Eddie with his sad sack face and proud tail. He's unique and looking for an equally unique home. We know you are out there for this deserving boy.
