Barbie here, formerly known as Tapioca.

I’m hailing from Palm Springs and enjoying the sweet life with my mom and dad who love me so much.  I took proud ownership over two dogbeds (which get rarely used anyway haha), all human beds, and all chaise lounges outside at the biggest water bowl I have ever seen in my life including a smaller one where they can make the water bubble. I’m very interested in that big water bowl and mom and dad think I might actually go in the water once it heats up a bit more. For now I keep looking at it and drinking out of it when I get a chance and they don’t see me

I still love checking myself out in mirrors, making sure I have a “good ear day” (some of you might know that one of my ears flips over on top of my head, people we meet always try to fix it;-) and started playing with my toys. I play “in public” now I might add since I never played in front of mom and dad when I got here, the pride thing you know. Took me a while to get over it and get to know what toys are anyway… They were making fun of the toys being moved around when they came home from work…

I also have a little pug friend now, she stays over whenever her parents go away for a couple of days and I love having her around.

Thanks again for the great job you did at Boxer Rescue LA, matching me with my new family.  Special thanks to Candi who brought me out to mom and dad. She knew this was the right place for me to go.
