True to his namesake, he is quick with the rush, and not so famous for his “pass”iveness! He came from a home with three other dogs, one large, two small. He has no desire to tolerate unruly dogs. He loves to play, but needs his playmates to be calm, cool, and collected when he meets them. He also prefers submissive playmates, as he likes to take the leader position. There were also children in the home, and he did great with them as well.
Tebow has some trust issues with new people. He is not a fan of humans forcing themselves on him. Proper introduction is a must with Tebow for now. Once you have earned his trust, he is forever yours. He needs a human that is confidence in their position as an Alpha, and does so with a soft hand. We are working hard on his insecurity issues, he is overprotective of his people but getting better and know that he will make that certain special family whole!
If you have the confidence to take Tebow off the bench and send him in the game, he might call a “quarterback sneak” into your heart!
Update: Sept. 2012 - Tebow is the newest member of the BRLA Mentor Training Program. He now has the power of the positive pack behind him and he is an excellent study. With the team keenly focused on him gaining confidence with strangers, we feel Tebow will soon be a relaxed confident canine friend in the right hands.
