For those of you who like them tall and lanky, that is our Sid. He is a young fun boy who enjoys life to the fullest. He would love an experienced owner to hike, run, beach it, bike it or do anything active with. He loves to ride in the car and is learning to be better with other dogs.. He is good on leash and very eager to please. He is a little insecure and someone with the confidence and leadership will help him feel secure and develope solid canine manners. Sid has that goofy face and a very loving heart.
BRLA Feature Dog: SID
Big boy Sid came to BRLA in early July 2011. Sid is the direct result of an inexperienced owner purchasing a cute Boxer puppy. Puppies grow into full size dogs that require the commitment of time and energy. Sid was previously adopted (on two separate occasions) and described as the “perfect indoor dog”. Without the proper leadership he requires, Sid became overprotective. He arrived at BRLA a big goofy dog friendly boy, however, over time kennel life has taken a toll. Sid is a fun boy, loves his walks and one-on-one time. He is treat motivated and often checks in with his fave volunteer(s) during walks for guidance and reassurance. He’s a big misunderstood boy that with basic obedience, routine and commitment could be an awesome forever pet. Take that chance that Sid desperately needs and provide him with a home where he can feel safe and secure.
