Sharky was originally rescued from a family that had him while living in their car. A good samaratian took him to hold for an individual that said they wanted him. That individual did not come throught. His finder had another male dog that did not want Sharky to become a permanent member of the family. His finder found him a home, but they didn't have enough time for a young Boxer so he came back. BRLA stepped in to help Sharky, first be getting him neutered and now finding him the right home. He is a good boy in need of some training. He has not had much consistency in life to this point but he is smart, loving and ready to learn.
Sharky is sweet as pie with people and kids. He is very insecure with other dogs. His reaction is almost funny as he begins to sing. We are working on getting him more comfortable with other dogs. You can tell he wants to but just doesn't know how. We are taking it slow and he would love to go home as the only dog and continue building his confidence with a good leader at home.
