Oliver was found as a stray.  He came to us pretty skinny but is a good eater and now the perfect weight.  He is a little bit scared of new things but just give him a moment and a reassuring word and Oliver gets comfortable pretty quickly.  We have noticed that he feels more confident when with another dog.  He kind of gravitates to other dogs so a nice companion at home could be okay with Oliver.  Best to be a calm balanced dog in a one on one relationship (day care, dog beach likely too much)  to help Oliver feel calm and balanced as well. His insecure nature may take him some time to feel confident so an adult only home is best for now.  Oliver would do best with a calm assertive leader who has Boxer experience.
