Millie is an adorable  3  year old Boxer who would love nothing more than
some love and attention.  Poor Millie has lived in the backyard all by
herself with little to no interaction from her family her entire life .
Millie craves attention and once she gets to know you and knows you are going
to give her love and affection, she crawls into your lap and likes to
pretend like she's a 60 pound lap dog.  Yes, Millie is a big teddy bear of a
girl, but she needs to know she is safe with you before she begins to bond.
With very little interaction with her family, much less the outside world,
everything beyond her backyard is brand new to Millie.  She would benefit
greatly from a confident owner who will enjoy the wonderful journey of
introducing Millie to everything new.....daily walks, properly meeting new
people, and just seeing the sights around her so that she can build her
confidence and expand her world.   Our volunteers had the opportunity to
spend a day with Millie at Petco and we learned that she very much wants to
broaden her horizons.  She so enjoyed her outing, meeting new people, and
seeing that the world is a fun place to explore!   Millie  lived with several
children and a Poodle, so we know that she's kid and dog friendly with dogs
that do not challenge her.   We  also had her sitting for treats within 5
minutes; she very much wants to learn and please.  Millie is young,
optimistic, and eager to learn....this is the perfect time to find her a
home where she can start anew and live the life she deserves.  If you are
