Mickey has had some hard luck but we feel good luck is coming his way.  He was attacked by a Pitt Bull and sustained some considerable wounds. Shelters rarely perform surgical procedures on surrendered dogs but Mickey was in luck. The shelter patched him up and BRLA rescued him.  His wounds are healing nicely and his fur will soon grow back.  He needs an experienced owner to bring out his inner Boxer and help him with basic obedience and social skills.  Mickey needs a break. Our volunteers have been working with him and he is now a part of the BRLA play group. He likes female dogs!
