Maximus is classic example of a rescue dog being a good dog that finds himself in a hard place. He lived with his owner since he was a pup. His owner fell on hard times and was living in his car. He would drop Max off with family and pick him up when he could. Last time he dropped him off, he called and said he could not care for himself, let along Max. The family loves Max but is not prepared for a full time dog. Max is a good boy and just needs a full time family again.
Max was adopted but after a year or so they were moving and dropped him off at the San Diego Humane Society. Thank goodness for microchips which got Max to safety and back to BRLA for a safe and forever home.
