Lizzie was found abandoned in a gas station.  She had a badly injured leg and probably figured she’d stay put until help came. And it came. She was brought to BRLA and medical evaluation found her leg could not be saved. She had amputation surgery and learned life on three legs is not much different. Lizzie is a sweetheart of a girl and gentle as a lamb. At her age and going through what she has, this soul needs a break. She needs a home. Lizzie needs no more than someone to love, a warm soft place to sleep, good food and knowing she is loved.

She did really well in her foster home, got along great with the kids and was good with their little dog. She even got along with the cat - as long as he didn't try to eat her food.
