Heads will turn when you walk down the street with this stunning young man. Hayden is a rare reversed brindle Boxer. He fur is mostly black with fawn stripes which is the opposite of most brindles. His deep dark face makes his amber eyes stand out even more. He is quite the looker and has a big personality as well.. Once he settles down (stops jumping to bite the leash) he does fine out walking. He gets excited around other dogs but with a calm assertive leader he will listen, watch and learn.
His face shows the marks of being attacked in the city shelter we pulled him from. That is common since many dogs are housed in the same enclosure. He is now safe and sound at BRLA and enjoys the attention from our volunteers and staff. His experience at the city shelter has made him very defensive with new dogs. With an experienced owner he can learn that not every dog wants to hurt him and he may let his defenses down. Hayden is an outstanding medium sized guy that would make a nice addition to your life and home given the time and experience to help him be more social. He is a bit too powerful to live with small children.
