Chase has not had such a great start in life but his spirit is true Boxer optimism. He was brought home by a 16 year old guy who lived with his mom who worked multiple jobs. She was not home to help care for the puppy and the 16 year old was making some bad decisions. The first was having Chase's ears cut into what is known as a "fight cut". Chase basically had the majority of his velvet soft ears cut off. He has the sweetest face that his smile is all that matters. Chase is basically still just a baby and is ready to learn how wonderful the world is. A responsible owner can show him the way. He is currently insecure around large dogs. We were told he is afraid due to being attacked at a dog park. Regardless of why Chase is afraid of big dogs right now. that can all be turned around with an experienced, loving human in his life. He is doing well at BRLA and already a much happier camper! Remember Chase did not ask for nor approve his ear cropping. He deserves the same love and life ahead of him.
